The Best Healing Spice: Terrific Turmeric!'s a spice. It adds a subtle flavor and a natural yellow color to food.  I use turmeric in scrambled tofu to make it look more like "eggs".

Turmeric is most commonly used in Indian cuisine. It also has all kinds of wonderful health benefits. If you don't have turmeric in your spice rack, you definitely should go and get it.  And start cooking with it.
